Skype is offering free calling to North American numbers for the rest of the year. With VoIP services like Shaw Digital Phone here in Western Canada offering "free" access to Europe and Asia, companies like Vonage are going to start feeling the heat. If nothing else this can certainly help people ignore distance when they are considering getting information.
