MS has just bought a company called FolderShare to allow it to provide a means of synchronizing data on computers connected to the Internet. It's supposedly got a Mac version coming, though I'm thinking that after getting "Bought by Bill"(tm) that they won't be doing much on the Apple side - unless the MacBU has some say. This service is similar to YouSendIt that allows for transfers on a file by file basis of up to 1GB at no charge. It seems that MS is getting a little closer to mimicking .mac and it's various synch services in Windows Live. Technorati Tags: Synching, Microsoft
