On a Roll - ICT Recommendations from The Children's Partnership

As an old co-worker of mine would say - Holy Moses! I've got a load of posts today. The Children's Partnership has a report on ICT outcomes in the US. The report has five findings that cover a range of ideas. The first suggests that ICT should be used to help students connect with others and improve their "civics". The second (and this is what caught my eye today) talks about using ICT to meet national goals and using games to help in that cause. The third suggest create benchmarks for monitoring progress. Recommendation four is about increasing access to ICT and educating parents as well as children and the last recommendation is to establish long term research to inform future decisions.
