Xbox 360 Price

A followup to my postings here about consoles and my brief conversation with John Seely Brown (gotta love how people always use his full name). Macworld has posted some info on the price of the new Xbox 360. It should be about $300USD or $450 CDN. That puts it at the price of a low end computer (or a Mac mini). At this price it may be a few years before either the Xbox 360 or the PS3 (about $400USD/$550 CND) become cheap enough that they will be accessible to more than just a hard core few. But in that time, those hard core people may have the time to create some really interesting educational experiences using these new machines. Any thoughts?
