Taking a Beating in BootCamp pt 2

Just a follow up on the BootCamp thing. I think the only reason that most people would want to use BootCamp is if when they are switching to Mac, they can ditch their old machine and retain some of their software investment until they are able to get everything that they want on the Mac side. There are likely other reasons as well, but I think that would be the major one. If your old Windows machine is dying, then you don't want to keep it on life support - sucking up your time like a leech - for any longer than you have to. It's far easier to get the apps that you need that are Windows centric - though technology or though economy - up on the Mac and just run with one machine. Technorati Tags: BootCamp, Apple
